Bishop Sam Rose is the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland & Labrador since 2020. He has participated in Heads Without Beds numerous times, but this is his first Leaders Edition event! He is also an avid painter and artist and has donated his works to raise funds for various groups such as Home Again, the CLB, the Boys and Girls Club, and others. With a founding grant of $25,000 in 2015, the Anglican Diocese was pleased to help launch Home Again Furniture Bank to meet the needs identified in the wider community. The Diocese continues to provide a yearly gift-in-kind office space to assist Home Again in reaching its mission. This year, he is giving up his bed to sleep on the floor of the Anglican Cathedral in St. John's to bring attention to the community's needs around furniture poverty.
