Constanza Safatle is the Founder and CEO of Newbornlander, a social enterprise that blends slow fashion with social impact. She creates employment opportunities for newcomer women by providing training an mentorship in sewing while promoting sustainable and ethical business practices.
She served as Executive Director of Taskforce NL, where she connected employers with skilled newcomers to foster economic growth in Newfoundland and Labrador. Constanza has earned several awards, including the 2022 NLOWE Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and appeared on CBC’s Dragons' Den to pitch her business for expansion.
