He co-founded The IDEA Factory from a basement in 2001 - and grew it to $6M before moving on to be the co-owner of the largest independent commercial insurance brokerage in Atlantic Canada, Cal LeGrow Insurance & Financial Group. But none of that mumbo-jumbo really matters around here, unless he can put his money where his mouth is when fundraising for important causes.
Here’s the money shots:
- Kissed Richard Simmons all in the name of raising over $220,000 for Breast Cancer
- Jumping from a tall building for Special Olympics to help raise $53,000.
- Raised over $230,000 for the 1st Ronald McDonald House in our province.
- Co-created the Toy Factory events which raised over $520,000 for much-needed causes in our province.
- On a mission to raise $1,000,000 for the Cal LeGrow Foundation by 2027. Current scoreboard: $383,482.
- Won the Paul Harris Fellowship Award which is the highest honour in Rotary International.
