Though born and raised in St. John’s, Doug’s professional career took him to Toronto where he worked for almost ten years. That was followed by almost 20 years in Austin, Texas, before finally returning to Newfoundland in 2018.
Doug has held several senior leadership roles in corporate finance, though he is quick to describe himself as a bean grower (and not a bean counter).
Doug is also no stranger to Home Again Furniture Bank (HAFB). As Strategic Advisor of Genoa Design, a key sponsor of HAFB, Doug has participated in and supported several initiatives for HAFB and is thrilled to again apply his skills and knowledge to help raise funds and awareness for Home Again.
